We Welcome New Principal Jeffery Miller
January
2019
Mr. Miller is the new principal of Conemaugh Valley High School. He is a graduate of Northern Cambria, but he also attended Blacklick. He went to college at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. To further his education, he also went to Saint Francis and Point Park University.
He said that this new job is his biggest accomplishment in his life, along with having a beautiful family. Mr. Miller said, “Nothing is better than going home to see my boy”. Him and his wife, Ashley, recently welcomed another baby boy to the world. Not only does he have two children, but he also has two dogs. One is an American bulldog, named Emma. The other dog is a pit bull mix, whom he calls Wreck-it-Ralph.
The reason why being a principal is the perfect fit for Mr. Miller is because he is a people guy and a go-getter. He said he is excited to make an impact on the whole school. He also would love to see more students get involved and support their friends. Mr. Miller stated, “Spirit is a thing of mine.”
He also has many hobbies and interests. He is a huge fan of baseball and was a great player himself. He had the opportunity to play for the AAABA. He also was a Hollidaysburg Area District VI Baseball Champ in 2012. Mr. Miller also enjoys golfing.
He spent a lot of time getting to know the students and staff on his first day. Mr. Miller stated, “I will always have your back 100% unless you give me a reason not to.” He is already making a big impact in our school by meeting with every grade and the class officers. Conemaugh Valley is excited to see what the future holds.
