Seniors: Reminder to make sure you check with the schools you are planning to attend in the fall on details regarding financial aid, deadline dates, and additional forms you may need. Call the Financial Aid Officers of the school you are attending directly if you have any questions, not the high school.

Attention 7th and 8th grade students: Admiral Peary Vocational School is offering a free summer career camp on June 29th. Students will explore careers in carpentry, welding, drafting, cosmetology, electricity, automotive technology, early childhood, networking, mechanical engineering technology, computer aided drafting, and heating/air conditioning, and plumbing. Students will visit four program areas and learn about careers and skills related to the program. Students will be served lunch and will receive a free t-shirt. Registration is due May 27th. Applications are being distributed through English classes.

The Challenge Program Service Hours form for 10th and 11th grade has been extended until Wednesday, June 1st. Make sure the form is completed entirely with the signature and contact information including phone number of where you completed your service hours so they can be verified. Grades, Sat Scores, and financial need will be considered.

Seniors: If you are applying for any scholarships, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY the instructions with the scholarship. DO NOT turn in incomplete scholarship applications or they can not be considered for the awards.

Any senior who is attending college in the fall and has exemplary community service and would like to apply for the Johnstown Salvation Army Scholarship, please see Mrs. Semelsberger. Grades, SAT scores, and financial need will be considered.
